Vision
The Princess Nandi Zulu Foundation envisions a world where nature and culture conservation are prioritized for sustainable living, and where communities have access to clean water and are connected to their indigenous African heritage.
Mission
The mission of the Princess Nandi Zulu Foundation is to raise awareness of water as a vital resource to humanity, encourage responsible water usage, and find sustainable solutions for communities facing water shortages in the Zulu Kingdom. Additionally, the foundation is committed to promoting the Zulu culture locally and internationally for community development and the preservation of indigenous African cultural heritage.
About
Her Royal Highness, Princess Nandi Zulu is the daughter of the Zulu monarch, His Majesty King Zwelithini Goodwill kaBhekuzulu and Queen Buhle kaMathe of kwaDlamahlahla Royal Palace in Mahhashini, Nongoma in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Princess Nandi has seven siblings with whom she shares both parents. She embraces her Zulu royal lineage and is determined to make a positive impact in broader society.
A brand communication specialist and entrepreneur, Princess Nandi obtained her postgraduate qualifications at Tshwane University and Wits University.
An emerging international speaker and community development visionary, she is the founder of the Princess Nandi Zulu Foundation and director of House of Nandi Pty (Ltd), an independent publishing and production company and director of Odile Holdings Pty (Ltd), for trading and collaborations. A partner at Awesome Africa Music Festivals Production, she is the global ambassador for Project Rhino, Special Olympics South Africa and Star For Life and is an international artist model, collaborating with world renowned artists for fundraising for her community.
In 2023 Princess Nandi was nominated for the KZN Top Businesswomen Awards in recognition of for her inspirational contribution to socially impactful and caring business work.
An adventurer, storyteller, publishing author, aspiring golfer and conservationist, she has previously partaken in bold initiatives such as Skydiving for Rhino, and continues to advocate for equitable access to clean and reliable water in rural areas of South Africa. She is an international artist model raising funds for worthy courses. She is committed to working with communities and other social partners towards sustainable livelihoods especially as regards to finding water security and interventions, enhanced drinkable water programmes, as well as rivers, dams and holistic environmental care. She also wants people to tell their stories and hopes to help encourage their continued of the arts, education and community solidarity initiatives as part of self-reliance and self-betterment.

Programs
Amayiwa - Living Water
(Zulu meaning):
- Implement water infrastructure projects and other appropriate long term solutions, in communities facing water shortages in the Zulu Kingdom.
- Raise awareness about responsible water usage through educational campaigns and community workshops.
- Collaborate with local and international organizations to develop sustainable water management practices and policies.
Cultural Heritage Exchange Program:
- Organise cultural events, experiential tours and exhibitions to promote the Zulu culture locally and internationally.
- Facilitate cultural exchange programs between the Zulu Kingdom and other communities, fostering understanding and appreciation of indigenous African cultural heritage.
- Provide educational resources and support and skills for community-led initiatives that promote the preservation and promotion of the Zulu culture.
International Entrepreneurial Programs
- Strategically introduce and link internationally buyers and local arts and crafts manufacturers to create sentimental pieces with sentimental stories
- To nature the talent of local writers and encourage the publishing of their writings or works and produce film and documentaries.
Royal Buddies
Royal Buddies is a movement established by HRH Princess Nandi to unite
individuals who share a passion for community service and
environmental stewardship. This initiative has been created to inspire
like-minded individuals to be the change they want to see in their
communities, either by contributing or making a difference themselves.
The movement focuses on addressing climate change and environmental issues within local communities through key
initiatives such as river cleaning projects, the installation of water infrastructure to ensure access to clean water, and
educational programs that empower communities with knowledge about environmental and climate issues
